Boulder Care is hiring a Peer Recovery Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position based in Colorado. The role leverages lived experience to support individuals with substance use disorders and connects patients to recovery resources while complying with HIPAA and privacy standards.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in peer recovery support, active Colorado peer certification, and a willingness to obtain the National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) credential

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in peer recovery support, including navigating opioid use disorder treatment resources and referral processes.
• Active peer certification in good standing in the state of residence, where available.
• Current certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) through NAADAC, or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized peer recovery support to patients with varying levels of need and complexity.
• Build sustained, trusting relationships that promote recovery and community connection.
• Use lived experience to support patients while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Help patients establish recovery goals and develop practical strategies to achieve them.
• Coordinate with clinical, care management, and community partners.
