Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in peer recovery support.
• Active peer certification in good standing in the state of residence.
• NCPRSS certification through NAADAC or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized peer recovery support to patients with varying levels of need and complexity.
• Build trusting relationships that support recovery and community connection.
• Use lived experience to support patients with clear boundaries.
• Help patients establish recovery goals and develop practical strategies.
• Provide peer support during transitions in care and changes in recovery support.
• Connect patients with community resources as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical, care management, and community partners.
• Identify barriers to engagement and develop peer-based strategies to improve participation.
