Phoenix Children's is seeking a Scheduler to support PCMG-MAIN by handling incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments across divisions, and ensuring accurate data entry and insurance verification. This telecommuting role reports to the Central Scheduling Supervisor.

You will schedule modalities, notify referring offices of appointment details, and participate in ongoing education to maintain competency.

Mansioni

• Answers telephones in a timely and professional manner and notifies referring office of patient appointment day, time and location.
• Schedules patient examinations for all modalities, cancels and/or reschedules appointments as necessary, and corrects or modifies discrepancies in scheduling; scheduling modalities.
• Participates in a variety of unit and hospital education programs to maintain current skills and competency levels.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
