Job summary

Volt is hiring a PCB Design Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity, offering remote work. The role centers on precise component placement, routing, and documentation to meet manufacturing specs. Strong ECAD tool experience (Siemens Xpedition) and IPC standards knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years PCB design experience or graduate degree with 4+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years related experience.
• Experience in PCB design and related ECAD tools and manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Place and route components to meet electrical and physical specs for each PCB design.
• Ensure requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met.
• Develop and generate drawings/documentation for fabrication and assembly.
