Job summary

Volt is seeking a PCB Design Engineer for a remote, 12-month full-time contract or contract-to-hire opportunity. The role requires strong PCB design skills, ECAD tool experience, and IPC-standard knowledge. Responsibilities include routing, documentation, and handling design changes for manufacturing and assembly.

Pay ranges at $70-74 per hour, with benefits and Equal Opportunity Employment. Candidates with 9+ years (or 7+ with a graduate degree) will be favored; 13+ years may substitute for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• Alternative: 13+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Extensive PCB design experience with manufacturing and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Place and route components meeting electrical and physical specs.
• Ensure manufacturing and assembly requirements are met.
• Develop drawings and documentation for fabrication and assembly.
• Rework PCB designs due to engineering changes.
• Create ECAD footprints and schematic symbols as needed.
