Intuit, Inc. seeks a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax notices, amendments, and corrections with independence in a high-volume environment.

This SelectTime role offers virtual, hour-based work with 20–40 hours weekly, overtime eligibility, and collaboration across Corrections and Amendments teams.

Key tasks include researching notices, preparing written responses, amending returns (941-X), and maintaining audit trails while mentoring colleagues.

Formación

• Hands-on payroll tax experience with focus on notices, amendments, and error correction across multiple states.
• Ability to read notices, understand agency claims, and determine resolutions independently.
• Experience preparing Form 941-X and state equivalents with complex local rules.

Responsabilidades

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work including tax filings and payments.
• Research and resolve complex federal/state notices, owning cases end-to-end.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation by required deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c) independently.
• Support correction workflows and quantify tax impact across quarters.
• Prioritize cases by SLA and maintain thorough case documentation.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process and system issues.
• Contribute to SOPs/KB updates and mentor TP1 staff.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
