Wipfli LLP is seeking a Payroll Tax specialist to join the HCM Tax Team. You will handle back-end payroll processing on the iSolved platform, ensuring accurate tax payments, filings, and compliance across federal, state, and local levels.

The role emphasizes client interaction, document preparation, and collaboration with teammates to deliver high-quality payroll tax services in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combo.
• Basic knowledge of payroll, accounting, tax, or compliance principles.
• Understanding of business entity structures and tax classifications (corporations, partnerships, LLCs, sole proprietorships).
• Experience in customer service, client support, administrative, payroll, accounting, or related role.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Tax ID applications for federal, state, and local tax agencies.
• Create and review Power of Attorney (POA) documents.
• Contact clients to assist with agency access and approvals.
• Communicate with agencies to obtain guidance and resolve account-related issues.
• Research and respond to client payroll tax questions.
• Maintain accurate customer files, communication logs, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct all customer interactions professionally in line with Wipfli's culture and values.
• Partner with team members to support payroll tax compliance and processing activities.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
