Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Tax Analyst Consultant specializing in Workday HCM/Payroll and ADP Smart Compliance. The role requires 2–3 years of Workday tax experience, strong EIB skills, and strong reconciliation abilities.

This fully remote position supports payroll tax compliance and remediation efforts for multiple clients. The candidate will review tax configurations, analyze liabilities, and partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate filings.

Qualifikationen

• 2-3 years of Workday Payroll/Tax experience.
• Proficient in Excel with pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with Workday EIBs and off-cycle processing.
• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Aufgaben

• Review and validate payroll tax configurations in Workday for multi-state/local remote employees.
• Monitor legislative updates to ensure timely tax filings across jurisdictions.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to validate employee tax setups.
• Analyze payroll tax liabilities vs withholdings to identify discrepancies and risks.
• Investigate payroll calculation errors using Workday and ADP reporting tools.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues such as W-2C corrections and local taxes.
• Conduct research on federal/state/local tax regulations to support compliance.
• Audit employee tax configurations and payroll transactions for accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliation documentation for audit readiness.
• Review prior-year tax filings and notices to resolve issues and amend filings.
