NEOGOV, a leading AI-enabled SaaS provider serving the public sector, is seeking a Payroll Processing and Tax Support Analyst. You will analyze multi-jurisdiction payroll tax data, reconcile calculations, and ensure filings with federal, state, and local agencies are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities include processing periodic ACH payments, filing tax returns, assisting clients with tax questions, and supporting quarterly and annual tax filings.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience performing payroll tax reconciliations and analysis.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• General accounting experience.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Experience working with payroll tax filing systems.
• CPP accreditation.

Aufgaben

• Process periodic ACH payments on behalf of clients
• Process and file validation of periodic Federal, State and Local taxation filing on behalf of clients
• Assist clients with ACH and tax filing questions
• Assist in quarterly and annual taxation filing, reporting, compliance and reconciliation
• Provide the research, analysis and necessary reconciliation to respond to and resolve agency related payroll tax notices
• Troubleshooting payroll and tax issues, to find resolution
• Proper onboarding of new clients
• Parallel reviews and historical validation of upcoming new clients
• Offer client support when required
