Job summary

The Heritage Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day payroll operations in a remote role with occasional travel to Indianapolis, IN. You will review hourly and salary payroll, manage data entry and audits, and finalize payroll processing within the Workday system.

You will handle payroll forms, garnishments, union payments, and post-payroll reporting, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Collaboration with HRSS teams and adherence to laws are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct payroll processing experience.
• Experience in a union payroll environment is required.
• Proficiency with Workday HCM and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll data entry, auditing, and finalization across the pay cycle.
• Process wage garnishments, union deductions, and post-payroll reporting.
• Support process improvements and maintain data integrity within payroll systems.
