MDpanel is seeking a Payroll Administrator to own accurate, on-time payroll for US and Canada associates, handling end-to-end processing, tax withholding, deposits, and filings across federal, state, local, and provincial jurisdictions. This role supports payroll integration during acquisitions and partners with People Operations and Finance to ensure timely, error-free pay.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on payroll experience, including end-to-end processing.
• Experience with multi-state withholding, deposits, and filings.
• Experience with year-end forms (W‑2, T4, RL‑1 where applicable).
• Proficiency with a major payroll platform and Excel for reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Run payroll end to end for US and Canada cycles.
• Manage payroll tax withholding, deposits, and filings.
• Prepare year-end forms and respond to agency notices.
• Onboard associates from acquired companies and map pay codes.
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and provide labor cost reporting.
• Assist associates with payroll questions and maintain process documentation.
