Charlie Health, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage US payroll operations for employees and contractors nationwide, acting as the internal expert for UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management.

The role reports to the Payroll Manager and ensures accurate, on-time payroll with system integrity. The candidate will drive continuous improvements, manage timekeeping and pay rules, and support audits and cross‑functional reporting with Finance, IT, People Ops, and care teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of US multi-state payroll experience including full-cycle processing for 2,000+ employees.
• Hands-on with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management configuration, not just end-user.
• Experience on payroll/HRIS/timekeeping implementations or major module rollouts.
• Strong knowledge of wage-hour rules, state/local tax registrations, and W-2/1099 reporting.
• Excellent spreadsheet and data reconciliation skills.

Aufgaben

• Execute biweekly, bi-monthly payroll and off-cycle payments for employees and contractors.
• Serve as UKG Pro/UKG Workforce Management expert: configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce manual steps.
• Maintain timekeeping administration, pay rule maintenance, and manager support.
• Draft and maintain payroll SOPs and support end-user training.
• Support payroll audits, month-end close, and cross‑functional reporting.
