Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support weekly payroll cycles and serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and SOX-compliant processes, with on-site days and remote flexibility.

You will input timekeeping data, audit records, and assist with year-end tasks including W-2s, garnishments, and payroll audits, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering quality customer service to employees.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ payroll administration experience or 2 years with an Associate degree
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll, taxes, garnishments, and wage&hour laws
• Experience with ADP and Kronos preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work with some remote days and on-site as required

Responsibilities

• Input, review, and audit timekeeping and payroll records
• Train new users in timekeeping system use and approval
• Audit data for hires, changes, terminations, and payroll documents
• Audit and communicate results to supervisors/managers for timely updates
• Process on-cycle, off-cycle, and bonus payrolls weekly with accuracy
• Maintain payroll audits, workflows, and procedures
• Assist year-end processing including auditing and W-2s
• Process garnishments and compliance with federal/state laws
• Support day-to-day payroll administration
• Maintain payroll documents for SOX compliance
• Update for Kronos, ADP, and SuccessFactors communications
• Perform other duties as needed
