Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support a weekly payroll cycle and serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries. This role includes auditing, data entry, and responding to employees with timely follow-ups, with remote options midweek and on-site hours later in the week at the plant.

The position emphasizes accuracy, privacy, and collaboration across supervisors, managers, and the payroll team, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years’ payroll administration experience with a high school diploma, or 2+ years with an Associate degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in payroll processes: data entry, pay calculations, garnishments, tax setup, benefits, multi-state taxation, wage and hour laws.
• Experience with ADP and Kronos preferred; intermediate Excel skills; strong confidentiality and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Input, review, and audit timekeeping and payroll records.
• Train new users on timekeeping system usage and approvals.
• Audit data accuracy for new hires, job changes, salary actions, terminations, and related documents.
