Job summary

Prince William County Government is seeking a Fiscal Specialist to manage payroll data entry in Mobius, support bi-weekly payroll processing, and provide accounting support across HR and IT teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and detail orientation in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time with benefits, mostly telework with some in-office days, and offers a starting salary range of $27.63–$39.70 per hour. Relevant experience and a CPP designation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years payroll processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter payroll data daily into Mobius payroll system.
• Support the bi-weekly payroll run and related processes.
• Assist teammates and answer payroll-related questions.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare files for vendor payments.
• Provide other technical fiscal or accounting support as needed.
