Stantec is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our U.S. Payroll team, reporting to the Payroll Manager.

You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll operations across multiple states. Responsibilities include processing payroll transactions, auditing data, resolving employee inquiries, and maintaining records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Formación

• Experience with processing payroll across multiple states.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience with payroll auditing and recordkeeping.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process payroll-related transactions and changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Audit payroll reports and data entry; resolve discrepancies before processing.
• Manage the Payroll Manual Timecard inbox and enter timecard corrections.
• Prepare, process, and distribute manual payroll checks and adjustments.
• Provide backup support for Certifed Payroll related tasks.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll balancing, reconciliation, and quality control.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Finance on payroll questions.
• Support process improvements to payroll procedures.
