Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a Payroll professional to ensure timely and accurate delivery and accounting of salaries, wages, commissions, and incentives. This hybrid role supports both remote and onsite operations across multiple locations.

The role focuses on bi-weekly payroll processing, data validation, tax withholdings, deductions, and reporting. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and integrity, with entry-level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes bi-weekly payrolls for specific employee groups and reconciles payroll prior to transmission.
• Monitors time sheet submissions and ensures valid data transfers to payroll services.
• Maintains database records with status changes, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and accruals.
• Researches and resolves employee pay, tax, deduction, and direct deposit inquiries.
• Calculates severance and vacation payout amounts as needed.
• Assists with payroll tax activities and reporting support.
• Develops ad hoc payroll, financial, and operational reporting as required.
• Prepares general ledger journal entries and reconciliations by deadlines.
