Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Payroll Manager for a 100% remote role. You will lead a payroll team, own full-cycle multi-state payroll processing, and tackle complex tax and compliance challenges while driving continuous process improvements.

You will actively engage in day-to-day payroll operations, coach staff, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, HR, and Ops to ensure wage/hour compliance and accurate filings.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience with in-house payroll processing.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and wage/hour laws.
• Proven coaching/leadership in a payroll team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing payroll team.
• Direct and manage full-cycle payroll processing across multiple states.
• Own payroll tax filings, reconciliations, year-end processing, and tax notices.
• Drive process improvements and system upgrades (PeopleSoft).
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
