Job summary

Northwest Cascade, home of Honey Bucket, is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support payroll operations for our employee-owned company in a fully remote role (TX or GA). This position suits someone with at least one year of payroll experience who enjoys numbers, systems, and providing excellent service to employees and managers.

You will process and audit payroll data in Paylocity, ensure onboarding and records are complete, and handle wage and deduction changes with meticulous accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll or HRIS systems required; Paylocity experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivots, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit employee payroll and HR data in Paylocity.
• Ensure new hire onboarding and employee records are complete.
• Enter and review employee status, wage, and deduction changes.
• Assist with payroll reporting, billings, reconciliations and audits.
• Respond to Verifications of Employment (VOEs).
• Support benefits administration and employee data maintenance.
• Run and distribute recurring payroll reports.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
• Provide administrative support to the Payroll Team.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
