Job summary

TRS Healthcare is seeking a Payroll Service Specialist to join our Accounting team. This fully remote position requires residency in Northwest Arkansas.

You will support Healthcare Professionals, ensure accurate payroll processing, resolve payroll and billing concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth payroll and billing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Payroll, billing, accounting, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide payroll support to Healthcare Professionals through phone, email, and online communication.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, including missing hours, incorrect time entries, and billing concerns.
• Enter, review, audit, calculate, and process weekly time entries to ensure payroll and billing accuracy.
• Generate invoices and complete billing processes based on hours worked.
• Maintain accurate payroll and billing records, including inquiries, adjustments, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with clients, Account Managers, and internal departments to resolve payroll and billing issues.
• Research, obtain, track, and maintain purchase orders in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Calculate and process monthly and quarterly usage fee payments.
• Assist with payroll verification, reconciliation, invoice processing, and other accounting-related responsibilities.
• Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
