Tri-anim Health Services, Inc. is seeking an AR Management Specialist to support insurance and patient billing, ensuring prompt and accurate payments for clients and providers.

The role involves researching claims, contacting carriers, documenting activities, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant processes in a remote environment. Prior billing experience and strong customer service are required.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare claims processing, billing, or accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience preparing and submitting insurance appeals, including understanding remittance advices, payer denial codes, and payer timely filing limits.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, and general medical terminology.
• EMS billing experience strongly preferred; experience in other medical specialties will be considered.
• Proficiency with various web platforms, including billing software and payer portals.
• Prior customer service experience with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Make calls to patients, hospitals, insurance companies, facilities, and attorneys to research claims or obtain insurance information.
• Contact insurance carriers to inquire about the status of past-due accounts.
• Meet or exceed defined productivity and quality standards.
• Document activity details in the claims processing system.
• Follow up on self-pay accounts and establish payment plans.
• Maintain workflow to keep aging accounts at a minimum by daily follow-up.
• Follow up on accounts that have reached collections before referral to external agencies.
• Perform quality checks on assigned claims.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
