Utah Division of Human Resource Management (DHRM) seeks an ERIC Technician II to support state employees with retirement, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and HR actions. The role is hybrid, with in-office training followed by remote work, and background check required.

The position emphasizes customer service in a fast-paced call center, handling sensitive information, logging inquiries, and ensuring accurate records while meeting compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call center handling inbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and provide statewide information.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, fax; direct to information.
• Log inquiries into a case management system to ensure accurate records.
• Research, interpret, and apply general HR policies and procedures.
• Process new hire paperwork including E-Verify.
• Verify payroll data and adjust timesheets as needed.
• Audit payroll reports and final summaries; identify errors.
• Draft and finalize state retirement worksheets.
• Respond to employment verification requests.
