Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Payroll Analyst or in payroll processing.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or related field.
• Solid understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices.
• CPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and verify timekeeping records and hours worked for accuracy.
• Process payroll data including wages, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and adjustments.
• Analyze and reconcile payroll data to ensure timely payments.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Ensure payroll adheres to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Verify prorations and retro pay calculations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in the system.
• Suggest improvements to payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and others to ensure data accuracy.
