Schwan’s Company is hiring a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team. You will analyze, audit, and process payroll for 10,000+ employees, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

This role is primarily remote with occasional meetings in Hopkins, MN or Marshall, MN, and is limited to these geographic areas. You will work with HR, Finance, and other teams to verify data, resolve discrepancies, and continuously improve payroll processes while adhering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles and regulations.
• Experience with payroll software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and verify timekeeping records for accuracy.
• Process payroll data including wages, bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
• Analyze and reconcile payroll data for timely payments.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure payroll processing adheres to regulations and company policies.
• Verify prorations and retro pay calculations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in the system.
• Suggest improvements to streamline payroll processes.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy.
