Job summary

EXP, an employee-owned firm delivering engineering, architecture and consulting services, seeks a Payroll Administrator for a remote role across two entities.

You will manage voluntary deductions, audit benefits, process end-to-end payroll for two entities and ~250 employees, with CST/EST hours and collaboration with third-party benefit and 401(k) providers. COMPENSATION includes health insurance and 401(k) retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years multi-state payroll experience.
• Knowledge of State and Local Payroll Laws.
• ADP experience preferred.
• Deltek Vantagepoint experience is a plus.
• FPC or CPP is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Macros).
• Accurate data entry skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Track voluntary deductions for 1200+ employees.
• Audit benefits and W2 healthcare costs for a self-insured plan.
• Process end-to-end payroll for two entities.
• Reconcile insurance invoices and process payments.
• Prepare month-end payroll reports and journal entries.
• Coordinate with 3rd party benefits and 401(k) administrators.
