Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support U.S. and international payroll operations. You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while handling payroll inquiries with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality.

This role partners with People and Finance teams to strengthen scalable payroll operations as Horizon3 grows, offering a hybrid/remote work model and growth opportunities within Payroll and People Operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of payroll, HR operations or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of payroll concepts: taxes, deductions, garnishments, direct deposit.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Excel; ability to learn payroll systems quickly.
• Associate or bachelor’s in HR, Accounting, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for U.S. and international employees.
• Serve as first point of contact for pay and payroll questions.
• Provide timely, accurate, high-quality customer service on payroll matters.
• Review and audit payroll data for discrepancies.
• Support onboarding/offboarding related to payroll.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and protect data integrity.
