Finalsite in the United States is looking for a Payments Reconciliation Lead to build and run a reconciliation program for its district clients. You will design runbooks, hire and train a small team, and ensure each district’s numbers tie every day, reporting to the CFO.

The role is 100% remote in the U.S. and collaborates with Customer Success and Product to automate processes, handle chargebacks, line-item reconstruction, and ERP-file corrections to keep books clean.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting operations, treasury, or merchant services with daily reconciliation.
• 2+ years leading reconciliation/back-office teams; offshore staff a plus.
• Experience writing procedures and quality checks.
• Knowledge of the card dispute and chargeback process from the merchant side.
• Experience producing or validating ERP import files (Munis a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills: lookups, SUMIFS, pivots, large CSV cleanup.
• Ability to explain a reconciliation break to non-accountants.
• CPA, CMA or accounting degree is a plus.
• Payment processor/bank operations background is a plus.
• K-12/public sector fund accounting is a plus.
• Experience managing staffing partners or offshore vendors.
• Experience handing manual processes to product teams to automate.

Responsabilités

• Runbooks: Turn each district's reconciliation workflow into written procedures with quality checks.
• Team: Hire and train 5 to 10 reconciliation specialists through a staffing partner or offshore vendor.
• Daily Tracking: Run a daily tracker of task, client, actor and reviewer.
• Quality Review: Review every file before it goes out.
• Client Reporting: Send a weekly status to each client's Customer Success Manager.
• Chargeback Notices: Own handoff from Operations with complete notices and details.
• Line-Item Reconstruction: Rebuild orders at line-item level with GL code, payment ID, amount and tax.
• Fix Files: Produce ERP-ready corrections in the district's import format and confirm posting.
• Settlement Tie-Out: Reconcile orders and fix-file detail to the settlement deduction.
• Related Notices: Apply approach to delayed/NSF transactions and disputes.
• Automation Input: Rank slow steps and missing fields for Product/Engineering.
