Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to support daily ACH and payment processing, monitor file transmissions, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with procedures.

The role acts as a liaison between customers, financial institutions, and internal teams, providing operational support, issue resolution, and after-hours coverage to ensure timely, accurate payments.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry or payment operations.
Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM CST, with variations during peak processing.
Occasional Sunday and/or holiday shifts on a rotating basis.
Remote position; must live within ~70 miles of specified office locations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and schedule inbound and outbound file transfers and reconcile related information.
Maintain operating records, checklists, and procedures for accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Provide courteous, professional support to customers and internal users.
Assist with ACH research and disputed ACH transactions using proper procedures.
Identify and escalate issues to management when needed.
Train on multiple processes including ACH and Check exception reconciliation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
