Job summary

Garner Health is seeking a Sr. Operations Analyst, Payments to own payments end-to-end, ensuring member payments are accurate and on time while building scalable processes. This role sits in the Claims team and reports to the Director of Claims, with impact on member experience as Garner grows.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance and Account Management, lead a small team, and drive improvements across KPIs. Remote-friendly with occasional HQ travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a strategic problem-solving or analytics role.
• Experience building within operational teams.
• Proven ability to break down complex processes and implement solutions.
• Experience coaching or leading others.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and Excel/Sheets.
• Ability to own end-to-end payments workflows and drive improvements.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and work hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day payments function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Stand up and scale payment operations for new products as we launch them.
• Leverage data analysis, process mapping, and automation to improve payments scale.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to launch new payment capabilities.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems and identify KPI trends.
• Analyze and solve complex issues raised by clients and stakeholders.
• Serve as cross-functional owner for payments across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Account Management.
• Be a player-coach: lead a small team while staying hands-on during peak volume.
