Gusto, Inc. is hiring a Payments Operations Analyst to own end-to-end payment workflows, including ACH processing, exceptions, refunds, and reconciliation. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Accounting, and work with domestic and international partners to resolve issues and improve reliability.

You will lead with AI, analyze feedback, and help shape payment systems while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in payment operations, banking operations, treasury operations, or a related role at a fintech or financial institution.
• Strong analytical instincts and data querying ability (SQL a plus).
• Experience with bank portals, payment processors, or reconciliation tools.

• Support the payment lifecycle end-to-end, including ACH processing, exception handling, refunds, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and participate in launches.
• Act on customer feedback to identify friction in payment flows and inform product decisions.
• Think in systems to understand how issues ripple across rails, partners, and compliance.
• Work with bank and payment partners to triage issues and maintain strong relationships.
