FreshBooks is seeking a Director of Payments & Financial Services to own the Payments business, drive P&L impact, and lead cross-functional execution with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Support, and Risk. Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments/fintech or SaaS financial services with commercial ownership.
• Deep understanding of payments economics: BNPL, interchanges, pricing, and margins.
• Proven experience owning or delivering to a P&L with financial acumen.
• Strong executive communication and ability to influence without authority.

Responsabilités

• Own the Payments operating rhythm across WBR/MBR and monthly KPI reviews.
• Forecast TPV and net revenue; drive actions to close gaps.
• Lead high-value initiatives: surcharging, repricing, AutoPay, BNPL, embedded partners.
• Manage payments operations: payouts, reconciliation, processor workflows, and compliance.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, SLAs, and security/compliance standards.
• Partner with risk, finance, product, and engineering for strategic alignment.
