Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in the northwest Missouri region is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to support the Revenue Integrity team. You will analyze contractual underpayments, resolve price and contract discrepancies, and lead rebill projects to recoup underpayments while ensuring accurate payment from payors.

Required: Bachelor's degree, five years in healthcare finance, and knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding. Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum five years' health care finance experience including hospital financial operations and reimbursement.
• Proficiency with CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and identify root causes.
• Resolve price/contract discrepancies with fee schedule corrections.
• Lead rebill projects to recoup underpayments and monitor outcomes.
• Serve as subject matter expert on payer reimbursements and contracts.
• Research non-covered or denied charges and assist with appeals.
