Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer to identify and present cost-saving opportunities in payment and reimbursement policies. You will analyze data insights, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive growth by deploying effective policy enhancements and new initiatives.

You will develop policy concepts, support cross-functional teams, and influence leadership to adopt innovative approaches.

Qualifications

• 3 years health plan or medical coding experience required.
• CPC certification required within first 6 months of hire.
• Experience presenting, collaborating & consulting with a variety of stakeholders across multiple areas.

Responsabilités

• Research & assessment of internal payment policies & payment solutions to identify new cost savings opportunities.
• Determine strategies or solutions to achieve identified cost savings such as policy development or enhancements.
• Participate in analytical and fact-finding work to support opportunity development.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to define and deliver payment initiatives and policy development.
• Influence leadership to adopt new ideas, approaches or products
