Sentara Health is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer in Virginia Beach to identify cost-saving opportunities in payment policies and reimbursement. You will assess data insights, collaborate with SMEs, and present findings to drive policy development and savings delivery.

The role requires 3 years of health plan or medical coding experience, CPC certification within 6 months, and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve hospital and plan

Qualificações

• 3 years health plan experience or 3 years medical coding, required.
• CPC certification required within first 6 months of hire.
• BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred.
• Experience with reimbursement policy development and publication preferred.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills with stakeholders across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Research and assess internal payment policies to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Determine strategies to achieve cost savings through policy development or enhancements.
• Participate in analytical and fact-finding work to support opportunity development.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to align and deliver payment initiatives.
• Influence leadership to adopt new ideas and products.
