Sentara Health is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer to identify, develop and present new policy-related medical cost savings opportunities for SHP. You will assess opportunities using data insights, collaborate with subject matter experts, and drive savings through policy development and deployment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (Bachelor preferred), CPC certification within 6 months, 3 years of health plan or coding experience, and strong

• Experience presenting, collaborating & consulting with a variety of stakeholders across multiple areas.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with tight timelines.
• Intermediate computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
• CPC Certification required within first 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Research & assess internal payment policies and solutions to identify cost savings.
• Determine strategies to achieve savings through policy development, criteria, contracts, or claims editing.
• Participate in analytical and fact-finding work to develop opportunities.
• Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders to deliver policy initiatives.
• Influence leadership to adopt new ideas, approaches, or products.
