Job summary

LumiMeds is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to own payment-related workflows, manage billing exceptions, resolve disputes, and help optimize revenue operations. This remote-first, globally distributed team values clarity, accountability, and initiative.

In this role you will coordinate across Customer Support, Finance, Clinical Operations and Pharmacy, handle disputes, investigate failed payments, and contribute to fraud protection and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Payment Operations, Billing Operations, Chargebacks, Risk Operations, or similar roles.
• Experience managing payment disputes or chargebacks.
• Experience with subscription or recurring billing models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Professional English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage payment disputes and chargeback cases from initial notification through resolution.
• Coordinate with Customer Support, Pharmacy, Clinical Operations, and Finance to resolve payment-related issues.
• Investigate failed payments, duplicate charges, subscription billing issues, and refund requests.
• Monitor payment activity to identify fraud trends or recurring operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of disputes, refunds, and payment resolutions.
• Recommend process improvements that reduce chargebacks and improve payment success rates.
• Help optimize internal payment workflows and operational efficiency.
