LumiMeds is a remote-first telehealth startup focused on weight management and metabolic health. We’re hiring a Payment Operations Specialist to own payment workflows, manage billing exceptions, and resolve disputes to improve revenue operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in payment or billing operations, experience with subscription models, and strong analytical and English communication skills. Remote role with LATAM considerations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Payment Operations, Billing, Chargebacks, Risk Operations, or similar roles.
• Experience managing payment disputes or chargebacks.
• Experience with subscription or recurring billing models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage payment disputes and chargeback cases from initial notification through resolution.
• Gather documentation and prepare evidence packages for processors and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with Customer Support, Pharmacy, Clinical Operations, and Finance to resolve payment-related issues.
• Investigate failed payments, duplicate charges, subscription billing issues, and refund requests.
• Monitor payment activity to identify fraud trends or recurring operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of disputes, refunds, and payment resolutions.
• Recommend process improvements that reduce chargebacks and improve payment success rates.
• Help optimize internal payment workflows and operational efficiency.
