Zusammenfassung

Merck & Co. in North Wales, PA, seeks US Executive Director of Medical Affairs, Payer & Health Systems Oncology (PHS EDMA, Oncology) to lead payer strategy and field medical execution.

The role reports to Value & Implementation and collaborates across USMA, Outcomes Research, and Global Medical. Travel up to 50%.

A Doctoral degree and 5+ years in field medical leadership with oncology/payor experience are required.

Qualifikationen

Doctoral degree required. Ability to lead and coach scientific/medical colleagues.
Experience in pharma or payer settings, oncology preferred.
Leadership of field medical teams and strategic initiatives.

Aufgaben

Serve as a senior leader in USMA, setting strategic direction for PHS and overseeing MAD teams.
Determine US PHS strategy and tactical plans for payor & access deliverables; oversee PAT.
Integrate external payor insights into strategic planning and platform development.
Lead and mentor a complex team of field leaders and PASLs.
Maintain partnerships with RMSD teams to align on medical account planning.
Ensure compliant ways of working across oncology portfolio with internal stakeholders.
