Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Policy/Management, Healthcare Administration or a related field
• Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
• 5+ years of healthcare financial analysis, budgeting or financial management experience required
• Experience in managed care or hospital reimbursement with payor and complex reimbursement methodologies including transplant pricing/modeling, drug pricing/trends
• 3+ years using Alteryx for advanced data analytics and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• 2+ years leading projects that influence strategic direction and staff development

Responsibilities

• Serving as team lead, optimize data and analytic processes to improve timeliness and quality for contract finance analyses.
• Lead complex financial analyses, reporting, and strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Identify risks and opportunities, deliver data-driven recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Develop options and recommendations for leadership on contract reimbursement issues.
• Create presentation materials for executives to inform key decisions in critical areas.
• Evaluate hospital and physician reimbursement and pricing strategies, including Medicare/Commercial impact.
• Participate in negotiation sessions with third party payers as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee analytic outputs for quality control.
• Train staff on SQL, Alteryx, Tableau and analytical methodologies.
