Mass General Brigham seeks an experienced healthcare financial analyst to join the Payer Contracting group. The role focuses on negotiating and managing contracts with health plans, evaluating government payment policy, and supporting analytics across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.

You will lead complex analyses, develop analytic workflows, and mentor staff while collaborating with Population Health, Revenue Cycle, and Government Affairs to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Policy/Management or related field.
• Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare financial analysis, budgeting or financial management experience required.
• Experience in managed care or hospital reimbursement with payor and complex reimbursement methodologies incl. transplant pricing/modeling, drug pricing/trends and analytics workflows.
• 3+ years using Alteryx for advanced data analytics and Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• 2+ years leading projects that influence strategic direction and mentoring staff.

Responsabilités

• Serving as team lead, optimize data and analytic processes within Payer Contracting.
• Lead complex financial analyses, reporting, and strategic initiatives for leadership.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements with data-driven recommendations.
• Manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Develop presentation materials outlining context, options, and analyses for decision makers.
