Job summary

Amatus Health is seeking a Payer Contracting Specialist to lead negotiations with government and commercial payors, focusing on reimbursement rates, fee schedules, and participation terms. This remote role requires strong contract acumen and stakeholder collaboration.

You will maintain contract records, track activity, and identify opportunities to close agreements, supporting Amatus Health's growth in behavioral health contracting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Government and Commercial Payor Contracting, including negotiations, reimbursement, contract terms, amendments, renewals, and agreements.
• Behavioral Health contracting experience a plus.
• Understand and interpret Hospital contract language.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract discussions and negotiations with leadership and key stakeholders
• Negotiate reimbursement rates, fee schedules, participation terms, and contract requirements
• Develop strong relationships with payer contacts, leadership, and the credentialing team
• Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the contracting process to drive agreements towards completion
• Track contracting activity, renewals, outstanding terms, negotiations, and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate documentation and contract records
• Support the organization's growth by identifying opportunities and closing agreements
