Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to manage a large portfolio of contracts across the system, focusing on high-value commercial terms and risk mitigation in support of patient care, teaching, research and community service.

Reporting to the Corporate Manager of Non-Clinical Strategic Sourcing in Supply Chain Management, you will negotiate complex agreements, deliver savings, mitigate risk, and help shape supplier strategies to meet organizational objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, contracting, or contract management in healthcare.
• Experience negotiating software, SaaS, tech, and data-related agreements.
• Strong negotiation, risk management, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to handle high volumes of complex contracts with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate vendor contracts with timely completion and market-competitive terms.
• Develop strategies to meet contract and savings targets.
• Deliver savings, risk mitigation, and efficiency improvements.
• Provide guidance on contract development and negotiations to team.
• Create, edit, review complex contracts and sign as authority.
• Assist leadership in setting goals for the contracts team.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement changes.
• Participate in RFP evaluation, market analyses, and contract execution.
• Support leadership committees to develop category and portfolio strategy.
