Qualifications

• Oregon CNA certification required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Completion of PeaceHealth monitoring equipment training within one month of hire.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort using computers and multiple monitoring screens.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned patients remotely using telesitter system.
• Watch for changes in behavior, movement, or safety concerns.
• Use two-way audio to communicate with patients and provide reminders and reassurance.
• Alert nursing staff immediately when assistance is needed.
• Escalate urgent safety concerns to the care team promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, nurses, and caregivers.
• Support smooth handoffs during breaks and shift changes.
• Identify and report safety concerns within patient rooms and care environments.
