Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. seeks a TeleSitter to monitor patients remotely during night shifts in the United States. You will observe patients continuously, report behaviors that may affect therapies or safety, and document observations in the medical record or paper per policy.

You collaborate with the care team to promote a positive patient experience, maintain patient dignity, and communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, families, and other staff under stressful conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must attend and successfully complete Wellstar training and initial competency assessment within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observes and documents patient behavior and status.
• Notify care partners and supervisor of patient status as needed.
• Monitor EPIC dashboard for new assignments and ensure direct visibility of patients.
• Document patient behavior at defined intervals and escalate when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, families, and staff; ensure patient safety and dignity.
