Job summary

NOMS Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our Open Access team. This remote, full-time role (36 hours/week) supports patients and providers, manages charts, and runs patient reports from our Ohio-based operations.

The coordinator will assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical records, while upholding HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and relevant CMA/RMA/LPN certifications, with prior public-facing experience in medical

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the health care field.
• Ability to communicate medical information clearly to patients and families.
• Ability to manage patient charts and handle after-hours calls with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient calls after hours and relay messages to providers.
• Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist clinicians with patient reports and with prior authorizations and referrals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and policies; other duties as assigned.
