Job summary

NOMS Healthcare is seeking a remote Patient Services Coordinator to support patients and providers by handling after-hours calls, chart management, and patient reports. This full-time role (36 hours/week) operates Friday–Sunday, 8am–8pm, from Ohio.

You’ll document in the EMR, assist with authorizations and referrals, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate, clear communication to patients and families. A CMA/RMA or LPN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient calls after hours, relay patient messages, and communicate urgent patient concerns with providers as needed.
• Document thoroughly within patient charts of our electronic medical record system
• Assist our clinicians with patient reports
• Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical records
• Complies with all HIPAA regulations and policies
• Other duties as assigned
