The position requires a minimum of one year in customer service, preferably in healthcare, with strong phone-based communication. Remote work is available, with eligibility tied to within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare hospital in listed states.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Call center experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work 90% of the day on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone or digital media to resolve inquiries per policies.
• Review patient account information in multiple systems and take appropriate actions.
• Document inquiries and actions in the systems.
• Update insurance and demographic information and request rebill.
• Work with patients to secure payment on outstanding balances.
• Escalate complaints to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a professional, empathetic patient experience.
• Meet departmental performance metrics for production and quality.
• Follow CSO guidelines and compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of workflow, systems, and tools.
