Qualifications

• Must type at least 40 WPM or 7,000 KPH.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• About 2 years in healthcare or insurance-related patient registration/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Receive patient/client calls and resolve professionally to leave a positive impression.
• Review accounts to obtain insurance info, offer financial assistance, process payments, or refer to appropriate team.
• Update patient accounts and notes based on actions.
• Perform pre-verifications to determine eligibility before claims.
• Identify and communicate patient services issues.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
