Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the frontline contact for patients, care givers, referral sources and commercial accounts. You will respond to inquiries, process orders, verify insurance, and coordinate deliveries with care teams.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, courteous communication, and adherence to company policies. A positive, professional demeanor and healthcare billing familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clerical or customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong general office skills (typing, filing, multiple phone lines).
• Neat personal appearance with good interpersonal skills.
• Medicare/Medicaid and insurance billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones with a professional greeting and route calls appropriately.
• Greet visitors and direct them to the right staff.
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure authorization where needed.
• Input orders and changes into the computer system accurately.
• Process orders and related paperwork for physicians and patients.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup times with patients and caregivers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Maintain patient files and document delivered/returned items.
