Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Manager, Patient Safety Operations (Pharmacovigilance Operations Manager) to join our team in a remote capacity. You will lead Patient Safety staff supporting projects, guiding performance, quality, timelines, and training while ensuring regulatory compliance and SOP adherence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement, including automation and digital solutions for safety workflows across a global clinical research

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical, regulatory, and medical Safety Services knowledge.
• Working knowledge of pharmacovigilance operations and clinical research methodologies.
• Line management experience and the ability to coach, develop, and communicate effectively with staff.
• Experience interacting professionally with clients and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with automation and AI applications in pharmacovigilance.
• Adaptable mindset with enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Patient Safety staff, delegate work, and coordinate staffing with leaders.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure work meets SLAs and KPIs for quality, compliance, and training.
• Offer functional expertise and oversee pharmacovigilance processes for client projects.
• Support pharmacovigilance automation tools and digital solutions adoption.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and Parexel SOPs; assist audits and risk mitigation.
• Manage budgets, forecast resources, and communicate with clients and senior management.
• Lead client interactions and provide project updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate team activities, review timesheets, and align with cross-functional teams.
